Gabby and Hannah often wonder the same but rarely give those recipes a try—until now! Today, we're testing 'healthier' recipes and giving our honest feedback, so Goodbrand Fitness Members, friends, and family will know which ones are worth making and which to skip.
Kicking off Gabby's Kitchen, we’re making Chickpea Blondies! With so many recipes out there, we decided to go with an amazing one from Instagram’s @thefoodmedic.
✔️1 can of Chickpeas, rinsed well and drained
✔️ 1 cup Peanut Butter
✔️ 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
✔️ 3 Tbsp Milk
✔️ 1 Tbsp Vanilla
✔️ Pinch of Salt
✔️ 1 tsp Baking Powder
✔️ 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
Preheat Oven to 400F
Grease & line a 9x9 cake pan
Add all the ingredients except the chocolate chips to a blender (add the milk last to achieve desired cake batter consistency)
Stir in chocolate chips
Bake for 15-18 minutes

The Chickpea Blondies are absolutely a worthy alternative to regular blondies, brownies, or even cookies! We never thought we'd say this, but next time, we’ll be measuring the chocolate chips instead of just pouring them in—less is more in this case!
